Introducing one of my favorite breakfast smoothies of 2016, the 'Good to Go' smoothie. Packed with plant-based protein, 2 cups of spinach and healthy fats from peanut butter, this smoothie is the perfect way to start any morning.
Recently, I have been getting into the routine of waking up and drinking a green smoothie for breakfast. In the past, I have avoided drinking smoothies in the winter because they make me cold. This smoothie, however, is the perfect balance of creamy deliciousness that my body needs first thing on a cold winter morning!
One of my favorite recent discoveries is Natural Flavor Sun Warrior Protein Powder. For a long time I had heard people talking about this product, but after seeing how expensive it was I always went for a cheaper alternative. However, post-Christmas I decided to splurge and believe me, I am thrilled that I did! This product is by far the best protein powder I have ever used. The powder is made of only one ingredient (raw whole grain rice protein) and the powder itself is almost taste-less (AMEN!) It's subtle taste makes it a great product to add to smoothies, baked goods and homemade protein bars without getting that over powering protein powder taste!

'GOOD TO GO' SMOOTHIE
What You'll Need:
+ 1 scoop of Natural Sun Warrior protein powder or other protein powder
+ 1 cup of water
+ 1 frozen banana
+ 2 cups of spinach, washed
+ 1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter
+ 4-5 ice cubes
+ Place all of the ingredients in a high speed blender. Blend until creamy.
