Makes 12 Servings

What You’ll Need:
+ 3 ripe bananas, peeled
+ 1/2 cup maple syrup
+ 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
+ 1 tablespoon almond milk
+ 2 cups of whole wheat flour
+ 1 teaspoon cinnamon
+ 1 teaspoon baking power
+ 1 teaspoon baking soda
+ 1/4 teaspoon salt
+ 2 tablespoons unsweetened mini chocolate chips
+ 1/4 cup of walnuts

Directions:
+ Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan with coconut oil.
+ Place the 3 peeled bananas into a food processor and blend until creamy.
+ Pour the banana batter into a large mixing bowl and add in the maple syrup, apple sauce and almond milk, stirring until creamy.
+ In a separate bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
+ Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until a creamy batter forms. Once combined, fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
+ Pour the batter into the loaf pan and cook for 60-70 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
+ Allow the bread to cool for 15 minutes before carefully removing the loaf from the pan.
