Double Chocolate Milkshake


Meet the ultimate workout recovery drink. This baby has 15 grams of protein and over 7 grams of fiber. To make this shake you will need protein powder. My favorite protein powder is hemp powder. Not only is it way cheaper than other protein supplements out there, but it's also the best choice for people who are trying to eat clean. The only ingredient is hemp and 3 tablespoons gets you 15 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber for only 80 calories. Pretty good stuff, huh?! The only downside to hemp protein powder is that it doesn't taste that great. The good news is that as long as you mask it with a strong flavor like chocolate you can't even taste it! Serves 1

     1 Scoop protein powder (I like Sun Warrior Natural) 
     2 tablespoons cocoa powder
     1 cup of almond unsweetened almond milk
     1 frozen banana
     1/4 avocado
     2-3 Ice cubes

* for extra brownie points throw in some spinach!

+ Place all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
