In this day and age we are all about efficiency and it is no surprise that technology plays a huge part. We have the world at our fingertips... litterally. Instant gratification is great don't get me wrong, but it does come at a price. I want to talk about the importance of process today. We are so conditioned to get what we want when we want it that when something is challenging and doesn't come right away to us we often give up. Examples? Weightloss, learning a new instrument, eating healthier and picking up a new sport are just a few examples. When we are focused soley on the end result we often abandon our goals because we get discouraged and give up on ourselves. By breaking goals into steps we allow ourselves small successes along our journey to our ultimate end goal. Here's a list of key things to help you with your process and achieve your goals!
1. Approach your goal by taking a step-by-step process. Look at the goal realistically and set out small mini goals to achieve which will lead you to achieving your overall goal. You do things to help you in this process like making a calender with your step-by-step goals or setting reminders on your phone.
2. Don't question your goals, focus your energy on things that excite you and that you will enjoy working towards.
3. If you find reaching your goal too challenging, find a new approach! Maybe your not taking small enough baby steps. Just stay positive and remember that you can do anything you set your mind to!
