Embracing Vulnerability

The word ‘vulnerability’ is often associated with unpleasant emotions like shame or fear. We don’t like to be vulnerable because it means putting our hearts at risk of getting hurt. As a result, we become stoic, rational beings rather than empathic, loving and creative beings. So why does it matter? In order to advance ourselves and become happier people, it is essential that we look within and learn to be open and vulnerable with one another.
