Hi! I’m Rebecca, the girl behind She Well!
I'm a former fat kid turned salad enthusiast with a cookie addiction and a serious love for fluffy dogs. As someone who grew up overweight, I’ve spent most of my life figuring out how to make peace with my body.
While I’ve always believed that the things we eat affect our health, wellness and emotional well-being; for a long time, I never understood how. Frustrated and exhausted from years of “failed” dieting, I finally decided that enough was enough. I put the diet mentality behind me and began to dig into scientific research, books and podcasts that went beyond telling me what I should and shouldn’t eat; but why.
The more I learned, the more I started to understand how my body was breaking down the food I was feeding it. I began structuring meals based on what I had learned about nutrition and quickly found myself feeling more balanced, energetic and satiated as a result.
Today, I use She Well as a vehicle to share recipes rooted in nutrition. In my cooking I aim to create the simplest, healthiest version of my favorite meals without compromising taste. By sharing my recipes, I hope to empower you with a simple and sustainable approach to healthier, happier living.
